The Marketing Communications Coordinator helps deliver and maintain the voice and brand of the St. John’s International Women’s Film Festival, a feminist organization known for its excellent programming and its prominent, leading role in the ongoing discussions about women in film.

They are responsible for managing and producing content that will deliver our message to both the public and media, with a focus on our main Festival each October. The ideal candidate is personable, friendly, a team player, is extremely organized, takes direction well, and enjoy sharing creative ideas and executing plans with a small, supportive team. 

Please note: This job is full time, with flexible hours. After the contract is up, there's possibility of renewal for part-time or full-time hours.

Advertising Coordinator (Summer Student Job)

Pay: $11.25/hr x 30 hours/week. Bonus free SJIWFF29 Festival Pass

We are looking for a post-secondary student to join our team and help us build our official Festival Program. We print over 3,000 copies of our professionally designed, 100-page Program Guide and distribute them at all Festival events as well as throughout the greater St. John's area in advance of the Festival as a marketing tool.

Our Advertising Coordinator plays a key role in making this happen. This is a great opportunity to get to gain sales experience, build relationships with new and established local businesses, put your name behind a highly visible end product, and work with a supportive team.
